Photoshop is very simply the process of tidying up your photos. Done properly it is not a 10 minute exercise even if the changes are minor. I am, admittedly, a perfectionist but thoroughly enjoy this element of creating a masterpiece! This doesn't mean your pictures will become an untrue reflection of you, changes are very subtle and are primarily to do with image tones and highlighting good features.
